My dog, Luna, had a gunshot wound that shattered her spine. Never in my life have I met more caring animal care providers. They absolutely did right by my girl. They laid out every option and were not “money” focused. They show a great level of commitment to their jobs and compassion for animals & their owners. It’s truly more than a job for them. The 2 hour drive was more than worth it.

My sweet Samantha. I took her to Goose Creek Vet on Monday, June 30th. Quick exam and ultrasound didn’t give any answers or so Dr Westphal said. He said when he took her to ultrasound, he would drew some fluid and wanted permission to test it for any cancerous cells that he didn’t say anything, but the tumor could be hiding. Did nothing to help her. I immediately decided to take her elsewhere and got an appointment at Lakeside. They were amazing even though it was a total shock. He examined my sweet baby and did an ultrasound and came back and got me. He showed me other organs before he gave me the news, and I still was not comprehending what I was saying. This vet, specifically Dr. Trotter, was my saving grace. My last vet borderline gave up on my cat who is very docile but wouldn't do further tests on what turned out to potentially be cancer. We are still treating my boy and have other ideas for diagnosis but Dr. Trotter was kind, thorough, and understanding. My cat's surgery was done well and healed nicely and every interaction I have with everyone there just solidifies that I've switched to the right place. They saved my boy's life, he isnt lethargic, and can eat again. I feel so utterly blessed and cannot recommend this team enough

Cannot say enough kind things about this place. We have never been, but trusted the reviews and feedback from others who have been. We were nervous to get our 2 year old golden spayed, but the second my husband dropped her off that morning it was nothing shy of a warm welcome. The Vet personally called my husband when she was done with surgery and when we picked her up they sat us in a room to go over post op care and answered any questions, didn’t feel rushed at all! They even gave us a free bag of food. Will definitely be switching vets permanently. Thanks for all your kindness and taking such great care of our fur baby!

The staff genuinely care about the animals that come in to be seen. We recently had to have our older dog euthanized, and the staff was very comforting during our difficult time.
