ProMedica Toledo Hospital Emergency and Urgent Care

Husband came in (twice in a day) for breathing problems, was here all night but the staff have been nothing short of amazing. The Dr on duty, our nurse, receptionists, literally everyone- even when swamped with patients. Very patient, kind, understanding, proactive, considerate, I could keep going. Randy (I believe is the name), the RN, outstanding to say the least. What a kind soul. I can’t say enough good things about this place with every instance of having to be here. 10/5 stars

The gentleman & lady at the desk were nice and compassionate, so was the lady who took vitals. The young girl that was speaking to me before I was suppose to be seen by a doctor was sooo rude. I left in tears w/my sinus infection, pain behind my eyes and chest burning. Couldn't take anymore so I walked out right after her being a butt b4 being seen by the doctor. With an attitude she says "your snot (drainage) is suppose 2 be yellow/greenish... ITS SNOT"...👍

The staff when you check in is kind, caring and understanding. On the other hand the Dr's that push you out like you don't matter are garbage. I took my husband to this urgent care because he was extreamly sick. By the time we got back to the room after waiting almost 2 hours.... the doctor did no blood work no tests, did nothing to make him comfortable. My husband was in the fetal position on the table barley understandable. I tried explaining to the doctor what was going on but that man would not listen to me. Would only hear it from my husband. Then the doctor got annoyed when he couldn't understand my husband because he was in so much pain. Gave him a prescription for the flu and said see ya. BUTTTT The front desk lady was a sweetheart and listened no matter who was talking. Showed ge

If I could do 0 stars I would. I went in for concerns of a severe allergic reaction. It was not anaphylaxis but I had hives, chest tightness, feeling of a lump in my throat, and difficulty swallowing that progressed over hours. When triaged I expressed these concerns. I proceeded to wait for 2.5 hours to be seen and continued to feel increased fatigue and dizziness in the waiting room. I was then seen by a doctor. I told him the symptoms I had been having and still had. He listened to my lungs and told me I wasn't wheezing so he wasn't concerned. He looked at my hives and saw there was still some but I told him they looked a little better from when I first had them since I had taken Benadryl and Allegra. I was then discharged without intervention. I reviewed his notes on mychart

I wasn’t a big fan of the doctor ( Dr. Nguyen) especially when he questioned one of my diagnoses and his bedside manner just seemed strange. Maybe he was having a bad day? The facility was clean, I didn’t wait long in the waiting room, staff was attentive and helpful especially the nurse practitioner.
