After trying to schedule an appointment online, because that's what one would do on the Priority Clinics Website after finding an Office Appointment button at the top of the screen that brings up the "Schedule an Appointment Form " for Priority Care Clinics Severna Park Urgent Care Service and not receiving a confirmatory email, I called the office. After hearing my explanation for the call the receptionist says "Sir, we are a walk-in clinic only." That explains why I didn't receive an email confirming my appointment time, so don't waste time trying to schedule yourself an appointment time on their website. I am so very disappointed on my visit today at the Severna park priority clinic. I don’t go to urgent care unless I’m sick! And can’t get to my doctor at John Hopkins. So I am sick. The receptionist when I walked in with no mask at first sick as a dog as she said she was. I checked in around and didn’t leave until 12:30. The provider that worked on me that I found out when I was leaving was nurse practitioner Mary. Mary was very rude! And honestly she acts like she is unqualified. I told her my symptoms when I started feeling them I even wrote it on the paper. She did one thing that was look at my throat. Didn’t look in my ears, up my nose for infection, didn’t check my glands …absolutely nothing. I said I’m really sick will I get antibiotics you don’t have bacterial infection and I’ll giv

I was not feeling well for about a week. Had some striking symptoms requiring an EKG to rule out what no one wants to hear at my age. I’m not one to go to urgent care at all unless I’m literally dying! Been healthy all my life (THANK GOD). Had to do some research according to my health insurance providers list to minimize the cost right… Lord is that a mission in and of itself! This place wasn’t close to me but I took a chance and boy was I glad I did. Darsal (FD), Azaria (MA), and Mary (NP) were absolutely amazing!! They took such great care of me, rushed me to the back, quickly did what they had to do in no time. A serious word of caution regarding Megan Barnes, PA-C. My visit wasn’t merely disappointing it was a masterclass in ego and evasion of responsibility. Faced with a clear clinical oversight, Ms. Barnes refused accountability and instead attempted to belittle and invalidate my questions about an antibiotic. As a senior RN student, I was able to quickly pick up on this, grabbed my things, and was heading out the door. Her behavior was not only condescending, it was dangerously dismissive. This level of ego in healthcare is unacceptable. It undermines patient rapport. I will NEVER return. I strongly caution others to think twice before trusting their care to someone who cannot admit when they are wrong. The clinic was very professional and efficient. My son was able to get in for treatment very quickly was diagnosed accurately , and medicine was sent to the pharmacy effectively.
