I had an amazing experience here. All the workers were nice, amazing, and understanding. The front office lady and opticians especially! I went to Dr. Frost in Zanesville for my exam and then came to PVC to get my glasses. I loved the wide selection of frames they had to offer and I got my glasses quicker than I expected. I highly recommend coming to PVC in Mount Vernon!

My wife and I switched to this office due to bad experiences at another eye care doctor in town. However, this place is no better. They'll gladly except our insurance to do the exam, but if we want glasses/contacts, no luck. I could almost over look that inconvenience, but my last visit has left me with glasses that are clearly not properly prescribed. For reasons not explained to me by the doctor I was prescribed bifocals when all I needed was reading glasses. The doctor and I had a pretty clear conversation (I thought) about my needs and current situation. Again, not the best situation but the glasses I had to order at another eye center with the prescription given to me isn't even remotely accurate. The offices are really nice and the staff is helpful. My doctor did a lot of testing on my eyes, which I'm not used to. Most doctors will just acknowledge that I have poor vision, write a prescription, and move on. My husband and I had great experiences there and will definitely return.

I had to order glasses for my 3 year old after seeing a pediatric ophthalmologist at Children's. As someone who has zero experience with glasses I heavily relied on the optician to make sure we had the right fit. After ordering and then doing research I was so nervous that they may not fit correctly as a lot of other parents had issues with correct fitting(not in our area but just in general). We picked up her glasses and they fit perfectly. The staff was wonderful with her along with my multiple calls and nervousness regarding the fit. Thank you!

If I could give a lower rating, I would. Extremely frustrated. Until yesterday, I had a very great opinion and experience with them. They called to inform me that they don't accept my insurance... the DAY BEFORE my appointment. There is no good reason, nor is it is anyway professional to do this. Especially since I had contacted them before this to find out when my appointment was!
