Prevent Physical Therapy and Performance

I can’t recommend Dr. Tyson Craven and Prevent Physical Therapy and Performance enough. I’m honestly just glad I finally found this place. After dealing with shoulder pain for a few years, I was at a crossroads. The ortho doctors weren't sure what to do and recommended physical therapy, but I tried a traditional clinic and just couldn't get into it. What sets Tyson apart is his "no sissy" approach. We aren’t just doing minimal stretches; we are actually rehabilitating my shoulder with the goal of getting back to high-level use. Our 11 year old son was having heel pain related to Sever's disease which is similar to Osgood-Schlatter disease that happens in the knees. One of his football coaches recommended we go see Dr. Tyson Craven and we are so glad we did. Dr Tyson researched the disease and helped our son through a combination of in person treatments as well as at home exercises. Both the in person treatments and the at home exercises were tailored specifically to my son's pain. In person treatments included cupping, scraping and others. He also checked and helped his form on the et home exercises in person. At home exercises were on the Tru Coach app and included videos of how to do the exercises which was helpful. I started seeing Dr. Tyson after injuring my leg while marathon training. He helped me figure out a plan to get back to running! By utilizing at home therapy and weekly treatments, I have been able to rehab back to running again. I didn't feel like I spent my life at the physical therapist and learned how to take care of my own specific needs long after my treatments were over. I loved his attention to detail for my specific needs and trusting me to know my own body. I'd absolutely recommend him to anyone needing a physical therapist!

I went to see Tyson with a pulled hamstring. Tyson was very thorough and listened to all my concerns. He provided exercises through TruCoach that I could do at home. He would gradually build on those exercises and I got stronger. They were amazing and helped my healing a ton! He also did dry needling with each session which helped so much in my recovery! I will definitely recommend him to family and friends.

I saw Tyson for ongoing shoulder pain and was really impressed with how thorough and knowledgeable he is. He took the time to explain what was going on and worked with me through exercises that targeted the problem area.
