Port Jefferson Dermatology

I haven't been coming here long (a year or two maybe) but I love my doctor and so does my family. The girl's at the front are.. nice enough but it seems that them and their who I assume is the money hungry office manager since she HOVERS... they don't know their money policies off hand and can't even explain it properly. They have an extra 3.5% ALL CARD interest fee for debit and credit, probably gift cards too, they also take checks (awesome but I am young and do not own or use any). They MUST have the money UP FRONT and DO NOT take cash, very unfortunate. They have billed me in the past where I have gotten emails to an online pay area, the same area where you can 'prepay' and charge up your account for a smoother visit. Scheduled a full body cancer screening but Dr. Dolgen complained about his payment from my insurance and only took a biopsy of a scab i was concerned about on my nose. It turned out to be skin cancer. Now i have to find a dermatologist that will do a full body check to be sure i don't have cancer elsewhere on my body. I can't recommend port Jefferson dermatologist to anyone.

I had my first appt in the Patchogue office today. I have to say that the two ladies at the front desk, Kim and Megan, were so sweet that I decided to leave a review for them. Often times the first people you meet in any office can leave a lasting impression. That was certainly the case here. My mom was a receptionist in a busy office. I respect what you do! Also, whoever answers the phone to book appts was also a sweetheart. Good experience today for those reasons. The Dr. was kind as well.

Love Dr.Srivistava. She immediately recognized that my skin issues were due to PCOS. She always listens to my concerns and comes up with treatment options that suit my situation. She’s friendly and upbeat and never makes me feel rushed.

5 star Dr. Dr Dolgin is very knowledgeable. He took great care of me. I came in very worried and scared do to a mole that I was told looked very concerning. I left feeling so happy it was nothing to worry about. Thank god. He even went further to make sure I had nothing else on me to worry about. The office staff is very friendly. They got me an appointment p right away even though I was a new patient. Thank you Dr Dolgin.
