Port City Dental - Downtown

Dr Hammer has been incredible both in skill and patient care when dealing with something medically complex (not just dental). Though I haven’t seen Dr Zimm clinically yet, I have communicated with her about dental concerns and have felt so confident and grateful for her expertise. Front desk staff and hygienists have been fantastic as well. Based on our experiences, my whole family has transferred our care here and I fully recommend them.

I had a great experience during my dental visit today. Both Dr. Hammer and Desiree were extremely friendly, professional, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. Their attention to detail and care really put me at ease. Highly recommend!!! Additionally, this dental office has the best view!

I've been at Port City dental since the day I moved to Duluth about 7 years ago. To see Brenda's smiley face as she gets me ready for my visit 🙂 always lights up my day. I know I will be able to get in and out quick with any of my toothy issues addressed at the time of my visit. Thanks team!!

The whole experience was great. Paperwork, reception, cleaning, and the dentist were all above par. Everyone was kind and made sure I was comfortable. The dentist gave me all the information without making me feel pressured. The hygienist was gentle and the receptionist made everything super easy. They offered parking validation and a comfortable waiting area I didn't even have a long wait. I'd recommended this office any day.

I cannot recommend Port City downtown enough! I needed a last minute appointment for two extractions. They got me in the next day. As soon as I walked in, I was offered a “comfort list” to choose from to have the best experience. (Pillow, blanket, headphones, laughing gas, etc) The lady who started my appointment with X-rays and numbing was the sweetest!!! I have severe dental anxiety and she was so accommodating. She made me feel at peace. The dentist (Dr. Kyle Hammer) was so phenomenal & calming. What an excellent doctor. He has the best bedside manner and really takes care of his patients. Again I cannot recommend enough and if you have dental anxiety, do not worry. Go here. Dr. Hammer will take great care of you and his staff. Wonderful people.
