Pomona Valley Health Centers (PVHC) at La Verne Urgent Care

Set up a time to go to urgent care first thing in the morning. While it was made clear that the time slot is not a guaranteed scheduled time, they did see us within a few mins of that time. My daughter got her first experiences with doctors during the height of covid and has developed a terrible fear anytime we mention going to the doctors. The PA we saw was amazing, very friendly and had us in and out quickly. No one wants to get sick or go to doctors office, but it was made a very uneventful situation. I appreciated this! Thank you!

We went to PVHC LaVerne-Urgent Care on a saturday for my son’s problem. The staff gave us a realistic wait-time. The waiting area is clean & organized. Ashley Yu-PA who saw us is very accommodating. She was able to interact & assessed my son who has Autism despite meeting him for the 1st time. She was able to answer all our questions and provide reassurance. We had a very good experienced. If needed for our Urgent Care needs, we will definitely choose this location again.

Everyone at the Pomona Valley Health Center urgent care and radiology depts were very professional and kind today. I was there during my lunch break from across the hall where I work and had to go back a few times for my actual Xray and to find out the results (because I had my own patients to see), and they were accommodating and efficient so that all could run smoothly. Thank you to Cecile and Amelia and Crystal and Jeff and all the staff there for your help today. You are the best!

I went around 5 and was very quickly ignored and put aside by the doctor — I stated my symptoms of a UTI and instead of getting assistance I was told there was, "no evidence I had one" despite a lower burning in my back, urine that was cloudy throughout the morning and had gotten "clear" when I went to urgent care due to be desperately attempting to clear my body, and a burning sensation when I urinate, along with many other concerning systems that weeks before I was told was a UTI. I deserved proper treatment and to be listened to, instead of listing my symptoms and being shrugged off and when asked what those symptoms could possibly mean if NOT a UTI, am told, "they weren't sure what it could be." My wife and I were both extremely impressed with the level of "due diligence" demonstrated by Ms. Ashley Yu, PA. Ms. Yu spent a considerable amount of time examining and then accurately diagnosing the source of my crippling lower back pain. She took the time to listen to me, to understand what I was describing, and to not dismiss my concerns as not valid. She asked numerous questions to glean the answers that led to a diagnosis that allowed me to leave the office with the appropriate prescriptions that alleviated the pain. It has been less than 24 hours and I am already "on the road" to recovery. Ms. Yu, in my opinion, is both a highly skilled diagnostician and a valuable asset to the PVHMC Urgent Care staff.
