Piedmont HealthCare – Statesville Urgent Care

Last week, I cut one of my fingers with a box cutter. At first I applied a steri-strip, and wrapped a band aid around it. That lasted for about 15 minutes until blood came oozing out....I opted to go to Urgent Care...what a great decision! I was taken to a patient room within 5 minutes, saw a nurse within another 2 minutes. She was proud of me for coming in, and not attempting to use super glue to seal up the wound. (Apparently her husband avoided stitches and used the latter method. LOL) A PA came into the room about 30 minutes later. He gave me nerve block medicine, then proceeded to apply 6 stitches to hold the wound closed. During the whole time, he stayed with me, and had wonderful calming conversations. What a great, attentive, care location!!! Highest possible recommendations for

Today went in feeling like dealth warm over twice 😒. They were already full with sick patients . The receptionist on the right was absolute fantastic!!!🌟🌟✨✨✨. I couldn’t talk from the pain and swelling in my throat. She did not miss a beat! She figured out exactly what I was trying to say and got me checked in . The room nurse was so sweet and kind. The FNP I think was Amanda Turner. Wow she really knows how to check your lymph nodes in your neck and such an understanding professional!!! Piedmont Healthcare as usual YOU HAVE FANTASTIC CARING INDIVIDUALS WHO WORK THERE !

The absolute best care. Paul truly listened, was patient, and very understanding. Robyn was so caring and kind, I really appreciate both of them. I also want to recognize the gentleman who gave me my IV (I wish I remembered his name!). I was receiving MS infusion treatments and had been stuck multiple days in a row, yet he found my vein easily on the first try, something hospital staff struggles to do on me. Exceptional care all around. Thank you so much!

I don't like going to urgent care in the best situation but Piedmont Health Care made it as pleasant as you possibly can. I had to go three days in a row and they made it as pleasant as possible every visit. They turned a negative into a positive from everyone I came in contact with. Give them a try they are the best I've ever dealt with.

The front desk and nursing support staff are very friendly and provide a good level of service. That's where it stops. The PAs need to improve their patient interaction and level of care. Came in for a specific issue, was tested for respiratory illnesses, tested positive for one of them, and that's where the patient care stopped. Was never evaluated beyond that - was never evaluated for the actual chief complaint. The PA did not do anything beyond sticking their head in the exam room to notify me of results and checkout. Unacceptable.
