Piedmont HealthCare – Family Medicine

The receptionist they have is awful. She’s been at the office for about 6 months and still seems very ignorant about how to use the computer. The receptionist does not answer the phones during office hours so you have to make appointments online. The nurse had to leave the room multiple times because she kept forgetting things. I was told today I could not have a refill on a prescription because my appointment wasn’t for a few weeks so I’m expected to stop my medication without out weening. off I’ve never been told this before by a doctors office very inappropriate and inconsiderate of your patients. My family and I will no longer be going to this office because of the ignorance from the staff.

Great, compassionate staff. Can take awhile to get an appointment, but unless you're in extremis, they're worth the wait.

Not amused one bit with their service or lack there of that I keep getting charges for. Found out they've been charging me a "smoker's cessation" charge for lectures on my stopping. But I've already informed my doctor I wasn't planning on stopping. Yer I'm still getting charges. Then I just got a $70 charge for an appointment I never set, nor was informed about. This is robbery by overcharges. I will be taking my $ elsewhere for my medical treatment. And talking to a lawyer.

I am one of Dr Frankhousers first patients and have loved her from the beginning!! She is the most personable and caring doctor I have ever had! I am always treated with respect and courteously. I look forward to seeing her each visit! As far as her staff is concerned I feel like they are all my family as well as Dr Tara. Jennette, Brittany and Jayme are absolutely amazing! I have 2 family members that drive from out of town to see them and now have 2 more family members wanting to go to her. I have never called without an amazing experience and quick appointment!! Love my ladies at PHC !!!!!

Amy Kirkland, is truly the best provider EVER. She is so caring. She actually listens to everything you say. She really researches what would be the best treatment. She will laugh with you, or comfort you if you are upset. She and Roz, have been so patient, with my daughter Willow. Roz and Amy, are an exceptional team. I’m so grateful God blessed us, with the both of them!!!
