Piedmont HealthCare - Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology

My husband took my 2 boys here yesterday and said his experience was far from great. This allergy doctor seemed more concerned about my decision to not vaccinate my children and pushed my husband to get my older son “up to date”, telling him what shots he “really” needed. In my opinion, this is not her business. We were there for allergy testing which they were not able to do because no one mentioned having to take my ADHD son off his medications before bringing him. I don’t plan on bringing my kiddos back to this lady and plan to do my own research to find my boys a great doctor who will help.

Terrible experience. Do NOT recommend Dr. Faiz. I was referred to her through my primary physician for a potential food allergy. Dr. Faiz didn’t spend much time on my questions/concerns around the allergy. Instead she kept focusing on my asthma after I repeatedly told her I already have a pulmonologist that I’m happy with. She then tried to prescribe 3 new medications that I did not want. When I asked her why I would need these meds for a potential food allergy, she told me to “stop interrupting her”. You do have to interrupt her though, because she doesn’t stop talking, she doesn’t ask questions, she just talks at you & wants to hear her own voice. It’s her tone and demeanor though. My daughter's pediatrician sent us to see Arfa. I refuse to call her a doctor so we are going to stick to a first name basis. This lady is the rudest, most arrogant condescending "doctor" ive ever seen. Not only did she come in rude straight off the bat, she was very demeaning to me, my child who was there to be seen and made nasty comments about my two year old not speaking (who has autism). She listened to nothing we said and came up with random scenarios such as my daughter's condition ran in the family.... who told her that? It doesnt run in the family. She refused to do any form of exam or testing. Then randomly out of nowhere she questioned what I did for work, when I stated I was a stay at home mother, she asked what I did before that- lady, what is that ANY of your business... DO Y

Dr. Faiz was wonderful with my daughter. She got her allergy skin test done and the nurse was wonderful as well. Great experience.

Dr. Faiz is very knowledgeable, and down to earth. 10/10 would recommend!
