I am incredibly grateful for the entire team at Phoenix Veterinary Referral & Emergency. When we truly thought our elder dog wasn’t going to make it, every staff member and veterinarian went above and beyond to help her feel better and keep us informed during an incredibly stressful time. The front office check-in staff was so kind and thoughtful when we arrived around 12:30am, and our dog was taken back quickly to be seen. The facility is clean, calm, and comforting, while waiting, I was offered coffee, water, chips, and cookies, which was such a small but meaningful gesture in the middle of the night. The entire team worked promptly while keeping me updated every step of the way. I truly can’t express how positive our experience was, especially given the emergency circumstances. Thank

We have had some severe issues in the past with emergency vets. Our gorgeous amazing 6 month old Husky unfortunately went through some medical issues. We took Whiskey to this emergency vet with some anger and doubts from our past experiences with emergency vets. The staff here, the nurse, and the doctor all were very understanding and stood by our side and was so unbelievably patient with us even when we weren’t being it with them. The staff here worked tirelessly day and night to find out what was wrong with our boy. They were so understanding and caring. They even set themselves up little seating so they can just sit by his side all night long. They even let us visit him anytime we wanted which no vet has ever let that happen. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this vet. I spent a significant amount of money, and unfortunately, it feels like it was for nothing. Not only did I not see any real improvement in my pet’s condition, but they also shaved his bottom without notifying or asking for my consent beforehand. As a pet owner, I expect to be informed about any procedures — even minor ones. To make matters worse, after the shaving, my fur baby developed a severe rash in that area. He was clearly uncom I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this veterinary clinic. I spent a significant amount of money and, unfortunately, it feels like it was for nothing. About a month ago I had to take my Luna in for an emergency visit. I received unexpected news about Luna that left with no choice but to put her down that night. I’d like to thank Dr. Brooke and the entire staff for their compassion and support during the most difficult moments of my life. As my heart shattered, I know Luna was cared for with love during her short visit. My family and I also received a sympathy card with beautiful heartfelt messages from the staff. We are grateful for their service and highly recommend anyone looking for a Veterinary Emergency Hospital.

Brought my chihuahuas in and am very glad I did. You can tell Angela, the woman with the dark hair pulled up in a bun and facial piercings, cared about my dogs. Her first concern is the animals comfort and well being. She even followed up with me after I took my dogs home. I think she is exceptional in the field she has chosen and I 100% trust my animals in her care. Our pets need more people like her.
