I scheduled a sick visit for my child through your online system a day before, but I received a call from the front desk saying the appointment needed to be canceled and rescheduled for three months later. My child is sick now, not three months from now. They suggested urgent care, but if I wanted that option, I wouldn’t have scheduled with your pediatric department in the first place. When I expressed my concerns, I was transferred to the lead, Jessica, who was dismissive and said, “If you show up, you’ll be turned away.” This is not how I expected Phoenix Children’s to handle care or patient experience. My 1 yr old was stung by the bark scorpion and the entire experience was traumatizing. I did not know what to expect, but from the time I arrived until the time we left I was comforted and reassured that my sons reaction was normal and that he would be alright. I 100% recommend this facility and feel extremely blessed for the doctor and nurses that took care of us. Thank you so much!
