Pharmacy | Kaiser Permanente Northgate Medical Center

A prescription was marked as "ready for pickup" on Kaiser's app. Upon arrival and waiting 20 minutes, I discovered that the script was NOT filled, and that I would have to wait "a few minutes" for them to fill it. An hour and ten minutes later (90 mins total) there was no communication when or if the script would be filled. This is not acceptable. Either tell patients they will need to wait a long time, or tell them to return another day. I have had experiences with competent people here before, but the most recent time was terrible, especially since the Kaiser app and website are no longer reliable to use for medication or any important medical communication.

Took over an hour to fill a simple antibiotic prescription. I went to the counter to ask why my number was not being called and they said mine was ready but they had to help someone before me. The person they called had a later number than I did, and had waited less long. They don’t prioritize getting people out of there in a reasonable time or fair order. Over and hour for antibiotics is ridiculous.

I love this pharmacy. My neighborhood pharmacy was falling apart, so I switched to Kaiser Permanente. Sometimes a bit of a wait, but always reliable.

This pharmacy has consistently filled my prescription without any issue for about 7 months now, until this month. My doctor sent in a script on May 5th. I can't actually get it filled until the 8th because of regulations. So I call on the 8th and the worker says that they have not received anything at all. I checked in with my provider and they said they sent in the original script but have sent another anyway just in case. I go in today and right off the bat the employee mentions a script that was sent in on May 5th. I then explain the situation and how there might be two scripts sent in to them. Then the employee checks their PC, and says "yeah the only one I'm seeing is from May 9th". She changed her story??? Why? This makes me think I'm being lied to about this. It's annoying enough th

I have never had as bad of health insurance as I have with Kaiser. What a joke! Every interaction is a frustrating waste of time. I rely on an ADHD medication to function daily. Due to medication shortages I had to have my Rx transferred from the mail order pharmacy to Northgate because they had stock. Fine. I was supposed to get a text message the same day telling me when it was ready for pickup. Two days later and I've got nothing, including any of my medication left. I call Kaiser and spoke to a very helpful woman. She was the only positive thing about the experience. Long story short, the Northgate pharmacy never filled the Rx, cancelled the order, and put everything back on the shelf. I never got a notification.
