Pharmacy at Little Rock Community Mental Health Center, Inc.

I've been going here for multiple years and the service has come leaps and bounds but still falls short of quality care. The front desk staff is constantly overworked and very inefficient with helping patients individual needs. It's obvious that Medicaid money is the only reason this office is in the community. This is the last house at the end of the street for the majority of doctors on the staff giving absolutely no personal relationship to the patient and not to mention if they even stay for longer than 6 months. After my last experience I am getting treatment from a different provider and would not recommend LRCMH unless it's absolutely you're last and only option. It's very sad that millions of dollars go to this place and the level of service is absolutely poor at best.

I'm shocked by the other reviews because that has never been my experience. I have been a client here for nearly 20 years. If you are expecting a cure, you may not understand fully your issue. Not only have they saved my life, but they have helped in so many ways. From learning to cope with my disorder and teaching me to live as normal a life as possible, their support has literally changed my life. No where else will you find in central AR a place that works with your financial situation. My doctors, therapists, wonderful folks in the on site pharmacy, and the kind administrative staff go above and beyond to help me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My wife has been going this facility for 10yrs & Randy /Vern & the girls have always takes good care of her about her meds. If at anytime she has a question about a new med they take the time up to answer her questions and Mrs Lora at the front desk is sweet as gold not just to my wife but to all the other people the goes there as will. I am giving it a 2 star rating because at least it is providing services and it's had a massive Improvement and it's physical plant location. It is beyond comprehension why someone would have to be homeless in order to get mental health care services and Housing Services combined. Why on Earth would someone have to lose housing in order to get mental health care services that could have prevented the loss in housing in the first place? In my humble opinion they have got this equation partly right and horribly wrong on the other hand. There's no reason someone requesting assistance in order to keep their housing should not be getting whatever is necessary up to and including hospitalization to prevent housing loss. 1 star is too high of a rating for this place. My brother-in-law killed himself while being cared for by this facility, they do not care. His medications were not helping and they just said "give it time" and did not adjust it at all even months later. The women that answer the phones will give you the run-around and hang up on you. If you have another option for mental health services, use it. Nothing can bring my brother back, but maby someone else can avoid a tragedy. Good luck.
