Pediatric Oral Wellness (POW) Dental

This is the most kid friendly and welcoming environment for your child’s dental needs I’ve experienced. We were lucky to return here after covid affected our initial insurance, but luckily we did as the prior office refused to remove my daughters 5 remaining cavities referring us to another location for sedation. The POW office were able to remove all cavities within two visits without any sedation or laughing gas. My 5 yr old did not cry or experience fear of the injections for numbing as the other office assumed would be the case. I highly recommend. Ps I stopped in after searching 4 different stores for travel size toothpaste to pack my daughters travel kit and received 2 complimentary tubes. It’s the little things. Thank you Pow

This place is incredible. My two year old genuinely looks forward to going to the dentist. Our appointments start on time and typically last 15 minutes. They’re efficient and very kind. The hygienist took the time to talk my daughter through everything, which also made her very comfortable and at ease. Would definitely recommend to anyone with young children!

My son just had his first dental visit and we had a great experience at POW Dental!  Everyone was wonderful from check in to check out.  The assistant, Evelyn was lovely, she kept my little guy smiling with bubbles before and after his toothbrush cleaning.  She gave me a lot of tips to make brushing at home easier.   My little guy cried during the exam (which I expected since he doesn't like getting his teeth brushed at home) and I was assured this is age appropriate. Dr. Valdez was great! Her exam was fast (which it needed to be) and very thorough.  We will be back in 6 months for his next check up and cleaning.  Thank you!

We have been visiting Dr. Valdez in Concord for 2 years. and we are so happy now we are able to keep visiting Dr.Valdez in POW (5 minutes drive from our home). My daughter has heavy cavities, Dr.Valdez gave my daughter very professional treatments. And Dr. Valdez is also very patient and considerate. She care her patients and willing to understand parents as well. Her sub-staffs are also very professional and caring.

Treated Like a Super Hero After being with our previous out-of-area dentist for nearly 15 years, we took a chance on a new dentistry practice about 6 months ago: POW Dental. I had high expectations after being so long with our last provider, and wasn't sure what to expect. So far every visit to POW (there have been three so far) has been as professional, courteous and as caring as I could have hoped for. We had two six-month cleanings that were straightforward and pleasant. One not-so-pleasant experience (finding out one of my children had a cavity) was handled with compassion and caring.
