Dr Bowen is just out of this world amazing. She’s been my son’s pediatrician since he was a week old. He’s now 4. If it wasn’t for her I don’t know where we’d be without her generosity, gentleness, loving spirit, and kind heart. She goes above and beyond for my son’s health and rights. The office staff is lovely and patient as well with dealing with an autistic child. They’re kind and always trying to help. The world would be darker without meeting doctor bowen. I know I can always call to get the help I need and feel safe knowing she is judgment free. My favorite memory is when my son was circumcised we asked if we could pray over him as we’re Christian. Recently I didn't have the $20 copay for an emergency visit to my daughter's pediatrician. She had had a fever of 102 for over 24 hours. I asked the billing manager to bill me. We were turned away and told it was my insurance policy's policy. I was horrified. I was told to go to the ER. The ER treated her for a high fever as they're supposed to do. Less than a week later, we were in the ER again because my daughter had a terrible cough and I couldn't follow up with my daughter's provider because they already set the precedent that my daughter's health was worth $20. She was diagnosed with pneumonia. Had her pediatrician monitored her health, we could have avoided pneumonia...for $20. Dr. lococo and Dr. day were fantastic with our newborn. Dr Lococo has been my son’s pediatrician for two years now and we adore her. Dr. Day just recently saw our newborn and we were insanely impressed with her care. I would recommend both of these physicians for anyone’s children.

We had a very negative experience with one of the medical assistants where we made a simple request based on what our child was going through and the assistant completely dismissed and ignored our input even though it was something she could have easily done. We requested to speak with the doctor, and she refused to ask the doctor and started spouting her own medical advice although with some additional questions, she quickly admitted that she did not have much information and she was just "following orders." Parents should always be able to ask honest, fair, and thoughtful questions about the care being given to their children and doctors should not dismiss or ignore that, and certainly they should not allow assistants, who don't have the same medical knowledge to run the show and pretend
