If you want professional service with a staff with a good attitude dont go here. Twice I went to this hospital. I had injured my foot on a bus and they cost me my lawsuit because the Dr in the ER put that my injury was on my foot, when it was actually my shank. This time I went in for a viral panel that my insurance covered. I had a runny nose, sneezing, and coughing. Along with a soar throat. I told her the symptoms when she asked me. Yet still she insisted to only do the rapid testing. I told her I was at a shelter and was exposed to Bronchitis, someone recovering from the covid and someone having pneumonia. The DR never checked my nostril to see if it was my sinus after telling her I had allergies. She only told me what I didnt have. Then when I was discharged and walking out

Labor and Delivery: I cannot express how grateful I am for the care I received during my stay here. I had a successful ECV performed by Dr. McKenna, to which I first met the empathetic and amazing staff on this unit. I then came back for an induction a week later performed by Dr. Chung (absolutely AMAZING) and was taken care of by the most caring nurses I could ever have. Both daytime and night staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and that myself and my baby were taken care of. This was my second delivery and a much better experience than my first at Stony Brook. I had personalized care and my birth desires/concerns were listened to and not judged. I may not remember any names (mom brain) but I will never forget the nurses themselves and how they made me feel so comforta

Terrible service because of the outrageous prices they try to charge you afterward. There's a lack of nurses; if there are any, they don't do anything. They take forever to get a wheelchair. Seriously?! There's a total lack of communication. I'm grateful to a nurse who explained things better later regarding financial assistance. They shamelessly charge whatever they want afterward, don't they? It all seems like a corrupt and unsanitary business. Who owns it? Is there anyone who can help? Is there an accessible, universal public healthcare system ? They're awful. It's better not to get sick to avoid having a terrible time. if I could 0 stars !!!!

I had a Great experience delivering at peconic, the L&D nurses were great I loved them, they helped and explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable from arrival to discharge. They were right there whenever I needed them or had questions. My birth was great exactly what I was hoping for. They took great care of me and my daughter.☺️🩷

Had the absolute best birthing experience at Peconic Bay. From arrival to discharge - I have zero complaints. The nurses on L&D are absolute angels on earth. They were extremely attentive, and the moment I called for them they were there within one minute. All of the staff was so welcoming, knowledgeable and informative. Everything was explained to me in detail and made me feel very comfortable. I actually wanted to stay an additional night just because the care was so amazing - I wasn’t ready to leave!!! The follow up after the hospital has also been amazing. I’ve received phone calls daily checking in on me and baby. Truly a 10/10 experience all around and can’t wait to have my future children at PBMC!
