A few things before considering sending your loved one to this place. 1,the kitchen does not care about any allergies you have it clearly says on the meal ticket that I have a milk allergy. Yet the kitchen does not read and this happened numerous times and I have to keep reminding my cna and nurse that they sent a meal with cheese or milk. 2 when I do say something I overheard my nurse tell my cna , is he complaining again so clearly nobody cares. I’ve had to order outsidefood many times 3, this facility has mainly Latino employees that do not speak English. So whenever I do ask them something they look at me with a blank stare and asks some one else to try talking to me yet that person does not speak English either. 4, do not bring any personal belongings unless you want them to disappea
Very nice nursing facility, this is the best place I've ever been. My mom has been to 4 different nursing homes but this one is different and feels like home. Staffs are really nice and will always be willing to help. Especially North Station staffs, they are amazing. I can't say a better word but people here are God' sent. I would like to mention a special thanks to Gian Paulo and Prince, these charge nurses have been very helpful to me and my mom. I don't know how these guys can maintain their calm and smile on their faces even at the most stressful situations. All the CNAs are very nice and caring as well. I'm just very thankful. If you have a loved one who needs care and attention. I highly recommend this place. This place is very well lit and very inviting. The facility smells clean.
If I could give no stars I would they are absolutely horrible ive had 2 nurses tell me they can't get my grandfather water because they are on there break my grandpa has been ignored and neglected several times after being in a horrible car accident and has a broken back and ribs, and had ruptured lungs they clearly do not take there jobs serious nor do they care ,they dont care about there patients at all he was bleeding from his nose and was freezing 2 days ago it took about 20 mins to have someone go in there and help him he was chocking 3 days ago for about 30 mins it was 5 in the morning he pressed the button and his roommate came out to tell them he needed help and they told him to go back in his room so we called the front and it rang and rang it took 5 phone calls to get aho
My father had a major stroke several months ago and he was initially placed in a different acute care facility in the valley, which was absolutely awful. He was neglected and left alone in his room crying out in pain and no one bothered to check on him. It was truly horrifying and unbelievable. Our family was so grateful to find West Valley Subacute Care. The entire rehab staff has gone above and beyond to help my father regain the skills necessary for him to safely return home. They have been kind, caring and patient throughout his stay and we have observed extraordinary progress over the last few months. Everyone from the front office admin staff to the nursing staff to the social workers care genuinely about their patients. Extra special thanks to Christopher M, Shakeh, Brenda, Gigi, Pr
This place is more interested in keeping you there than caring for you and helping you to exit the facility. If you feel you're ready to be discharged they aren't in your time-line to help you. They provide all sorts of reasons why you aren't ready to leave the facility and then they implement roadblocks like not being able to be seen by a doctor in any timely fashion for him to verify you being ready to leave. The case worker isn't of much help (and she should be) in complying with your wishes. All the people I came in contact with have been trained to provide the patients with reasons why their stay should be extended. I think this is their way of receiving money from the medical community to keep them in business. Do Not, I Repeat, Do Not Go To This Facility If You're Interested in Time
