Dr. Munro might be the best specialist I've ever had. He performed my ablation surgery, and the results have been phenomenal. His follow-up is second to none. His staff are also very good at what they do. Very pleasant and helpful. If you're looking for a cardiologist, this is the place.

I was referred to Dr.Munro after having high resting heart rate (in the 120s-130s) high blood pressure, chest pain, palpitations, and constant dizzy spells. He didn’t seem too worried and chalked it up to my weight like every other male doctor does to an over weight female. He ordered an echo and halter monitor. The echo showed “nothing” apparently and my halter monitor just showed “small” PVCs. I had multiple follow up appointments telling him nothing was changing and I could FEEL this palpitations and it felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest. I was still feeling these and his answer was lose weight and change my diet and take some fish oil and vitamins. Thank GOD my pcp at the time started me on metoprolol. It might’ve saved my life. Dr. Munro was referred by my primary care physician, first choice cardiologist she would personally see; I agree. Upon meeting, he is very friendly and professional. He listens well. I feel heard and respected. Examination/ testing is thorough and proficient. His explanations/expectations are clear, options considerate of my individual situation/needs, and he gives common sense advice. Office administration and follow-ups are timely, consistent, well organized. As I continue to improve, I am grateful, and will definitely return to Dr. Munro for followups.

Dr. Munro is a terrific cardiologist. He’s thoughtful and thorough. He’s also kind and has a friendly conversational style. His staff are similarly excellent. Highly recommend.

Dr Munro is a good doctor. He takes a consultative approach and involves his patients. I like that he didn’t rush me and was open to various options. Unlike other cardiologist who get you in spend 2 minutes with you and just prescribe meds, this dude actually cares. Highly recommend
