Paradigm at Bay City

Paradigm at Bay City provided me with great care. I came in on March 4th for therapy and now will be going home today March 20th. My determination and the hard work to include me now being able to walk independently and my balance is back along with my arms being strong. Are due to the staff they have all been the force of my therapy being successful due to Glenn, Roy and Allen. The nursing staff provided wonderful care as needed and have become my friends. The dietary department accommodated my diet which was most pleasing. Along with many other Staff members becoming my friends and making me feel most welcome.

Had my friend in there as a skilled patient requiring total care. Refused to take her to the hospital. Her sister had a private ambulance come take her to UTMB. She was impacted so bad she had sepsis; she had another bed sore and the one she had has gotten worse. Her blood pressure was so low and they were talking about intubation when she got here. There was no doctor that came to see her or talk to her sister about her treatment. The nurses were unavailable and you had to track them down for anything relating to the patient. You would put on the call light and they would not answer it for 30-40 minutes. Her sister would call to check on her condition and no one would answer. This facility is horrible!!!😡

Liz the admin is the best! Caring staff and super clean and tidy!
