My 91 year old mother in law had spent a week in the hospital recovering from a fall and uti. They recommended some inpatient rehab before returning to her assisted living facility. She stayed at Otterbein for almost three weeks. They took good care of her while she was there.

I can’t say enough about Otterbein! The neighborhood is warm and welcoming, and the staff truly go above and beyond to make elders feel at home. They provide excellent care while also focusing on quality of life, which makes such a difference. It’s clear they genuinely care about the people they serve and their families. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown every day.

I am so grateful for the care and compassion this community provides to those they serve. The staff are truly dedicated to their residents and the home like setting is fantastic for people who live there.

Everything is great. The EAs are great and the food. I would highly recommend if you need rehabilitation go to Otterbein!

The experience we had at this place still upsets me today. My grandma was placed here for rehab a couple months back and was diagnosed with dementia shortly before arriving. She is considered a brutal diabetic and had really high sugar levels one day. I checked her monitor and asked the nurse if they can order some insulin because dinner wasn’t going to be for another 3 hours and her counts were only going up and we’re already dangerously high. They didn’t come back for another 45 minutes so I asked again and the nurse flipped out on me. Questioning why I was the one checking her (concerned granddaughter changing her sensor), told me they weren’t going to give her anything, continued raising her voice at me making me cry telling me I was wrong and making smart remarks.
