I am so disappointed with the care I have received under Orthopedic Associates of Central Texas. I went in for an initial visit and was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. 2 weeks after my initial visit, my pain had gotten far worse and it took me 2 days to get any sort of response from the doctor about my symptoms. When I did finally get a call back, all the doctor's assistant said was "the doctor isn't concerned about your symptoms" and gave me no reason behind why my pain had gotten worse. I then went back for a follow up where they sent me to get an MRI. This happened on a Thursday and I was told that the doctor would call me with my results the following day before he went out of town on vacation for a week. I did not receive that phone call and am now left in the dark for another wee

So brought my mom for post ok for FOOT surgery. Front desk girls were so attentive NOT!! They blow you off and til their eyes. And never mind an appt. We had one 30min ago but they took back the person that had an appt after us first. How do I know? Loud convo! I have worked in dr office and hospitals all my life and I woulda never kept my job with their attitude. I guess drs offices have to settle for less these days👎🏼 Sad for the patients Hopefully the back office is better. When I brought my daughter had they been here I would have NEVER recommended the office to my mother

I had an appointment for 8 and the staff told me to show up 20-30 minutes before. I was the first person to show up and the doctor informed me that the front desk staff did not get there until 8 and they were triple booked. Just like another post the staff is complacent and smug. When I spoke with the receptionist and explained what the lady on the phone said, it seemed like she could not be bothered. About 4 other patients came in after me including a man who said he had an appointment 20 minutes after me for the same doctor. Everyone there was seen and I was the last person left in the lobby. I asked the receptionist why he was seen before me when his appointment was after mine, she straight lied to me. I left without seeing a doctor and have since been to another orthopedic.

Very disappointing experience. Waits are always extremely long despite having appointments. Front office is not pleasant to deal with. My follow up appointment took over a month to schedule despite being told it would take 2-3 days. Dr. Toy is great. Physical therapists are good.

It depends on the doctor you get to treat you particular injury. PLEASE don't trust angry or irritated reviewers right off the bat, they might not have seen the right doctor for what was troublibg them. Dr. Chen diagnosed me with carpal tunnel around 2014 but did little to determine it's severity and certainly did not attempt to treat it. Dr. Jobe, on the other hand, is a wrist specialist and I cannot recommend him more highly. He examined my wrists, ordered a nerve test and x-rays to ease my worries about arthritis, and ultimately performed surgery on both of my wrists at the same time (at my request). I have had no issues since (it's been a little over two years). More recently (Nov 30, 2018) I broke my left (non-dominant, thank God) wrist. I broke it on a Friday and needed to get in A
