I had an appointment set up for the surgeon on general surgery. My appointment wasn’t until today at 12:45. I was there an hour early to check in. They said my insurance didn’t go through so then I call my insurance and I have insurance and I was on the phone for 35 minutes then the receptionist at General surgery lied to the manager and said I refused to sign a form which was completely false. I took off work. I don’t live in midland and this surgeon refused to see me when I was there an hour early for my appointment. The manager should not have a job there. This is ridiculous that I had to go through this and was refused service for an appointment that was set up and didn’t see me when I was there. I will never go back here again. They should be ashamed of themselves for acting in such a

If you're wondering why healthcare is so expensive, one reason is the cost of the buildings and decor. People who need to see a doctor don't need to feel like they're going to a resort. They should have took some of the money they spent on decorations and bought better signage. This campus is very difficult to navigate. That said, the employees are wonderful and very helpful.

The ED is ALWAYS slow. Been waiting for 2 hours with only 4 other people in waiting room; of which only 2 are patients with wristbands. Came in with symptoms that cause an emergency reaction; lower ab pain that hurts more when pressed and released with nausea... Maybe reform is needed. Maybe if triage sees symptoms are not going to necessarily be tragic, they could suggest waiting for urgent urgent care is open. Maybe more doctors could be hired for Ed. All I know is, something has to be done with the Ed soon, or I think patents would be better served somewhere else for emergency services.

Some nice staff but I'm confused about why Everytime I go there for blood work the lady at the front desk won't let me wear MY OWN mask that I literally go into all my doctor appointments wearing it for this entire pandemic and they have no signs saying that you have to wear their masks I have no idea wear it's even been or who touched it I have my own mask on and yet get pin pointed and harassed before I can even talk to be registered she's already got something to say about my mask I ordered It froM Amazon it's a covid mask and that lady has done this more than once too me. You need to put some kind of signs saying that we have to wear your masks and quit making your own rules! And tell that pushy lady to not worry about it I have my own mask for a reason.
