Optalis Health & Rehabilitation at Kent-Crossing

Alot of changes over last 5 months. Charity is working hard individually and collectively with residents to meet any changes they request. Activities is increasing their offered activities and adding new outings for residents to enjoy. Nurses are focused on individualized care. Dinning service is centered around an atmosphere of dinning out and the feel of home breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Social Services works with residents, families, and community resources to help residents in every aspects of transition into/out of/and during stay at the facility. Therapy is amazing, encouraging residents to improve using many forms of activities. Management cares what resident, staff, and families need and request. My mom is here for rehabilitation after the hospital. She has been here almost for a week. She has bandages on her legs for weeping areas that have not been changed at all and the pad on her bed under her legs has drainage and damp. She has not been washed up or showered since she has been here. Hopefully therapy sends her home tomarrow because it is Sunday and I guess there on no doctor's here on the weekend...ugggg so frustrating..would never recommend this facility.

Nicole is wonderful and helping get things corrected . She always goes above and beyond. The therapy team is amazing in my healing journey . I cant wait to go back to therapy. However; the therapy is a separate company from Optalis. Christine also does a very nice job here, but she shouldn't have to babysit people who only want this job for the paycheck! Not everybody is like that, but it feels like a good portion of them are. I'm going to give an update rather than an edit so it all makes sense. They have been quick to make things right with me as well and come and talk to me to correct things so I have adjusted my stars as well.

The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful! My family and I had a great experience with Optalis at Heartland Health! Very thankful for the help of all the stuff and the patience that was provided.

The nurses are nice and the aids good and I love the activities that are provided for us. The therapy people are also very good at what they do to. Charity is also good at her job and making sure we are happy.
