Olive View-UCLA Medical Center

I took my dad here for his ultrasound appointment. We came in the early morning, basically his appointment time was when the place actually open. So we were able to find parking easily. It was confusing to figure out where we were but the security personnel and people working the information desk was helpful. The ultrasound is on the first floor so I had to take the elevator down since I entered through the second floor. My dad ultrasound on his liver didn't take long.

Zero complaints the staff was very friendly, nice and helpful to my mom who had a major surgery. They treated her very well. They spoke to us kindly the room was clean. The bathrooms were dirty. but more importantly, her area was very clean and where she used the restroom was clean. There are lots of vending machines. There was a cafeteria that sold decent food. Overall, the hospital was clean and the staff was great. I would just suggest they pay some extra attention to the bathroom bathrooms.

Labor and delivery staff was amazing 10/10 BUT… whoever the COOK IS NEED TO BE FIRED! Disgusting need to hire a new one I was very very disappointed and I couldn’t go no where to get food so that js tells you I was extremely hungry. Overall the staff was amazing the hospital is amazing js need to hire a BETTER COOK !!! ASAP!

A lot of people post bad reviews in general but especially for anything Medical related. First of all, the system isn't perfect... without question, I believe we all can agree on that. As someone who has to frequent many different medical facilities, I don't think Olive View is a horrible place to go for treatment. I can say that it isn't the "Penthouse Suite" of hospitals but I have had good service and was greeted with a smile more times than not. If you go anywhere with unreal expectations, you are going to be let down. If you go somewhere and are rude and looking for some kind of argument, you'll most likely find one. Do I wish the system was perfect... Yes! Do I think if we all try, we can contribute to the overall experience... without question!!!!! I wish everyone the best. Have a b

Good doctors but the clinics are the worst. I am a level 1 trauma patient in need of specialty care with a very bad leg condition, the orthopedic department here is the worst. They have held up my healing by never getting back to me in between appointments, I have to often be my own nurse and stay on them if I want follow up care or to even see my surgeon that worked on me, and getting in contact with them in between appointments is IMPOSSIBLE. I was seen in September and in December again with directions that I was going to get a referral to be seen by another specialist. When I call the specialists clinic they say the referral was never sent! Since SEPTEMBER. Meanwhile my entire life is being held up because I can’t get ahold of anyone in the department and in need of future surgeries st
