I went in because I had an infection. The nurse told me it was probably a STD which I didn’t think it was possible but got tested just in case. I told her what I thought it was (ended up I was correct) she continued to still tell me she was sure it was an STD. I got horrible anxiety thinking I’m being cheated on, I’m shaking & starting to tear up in the office. She apologizes says it’s it Friday she’ll have my results Monday. She sends me home with antibiotics & tells me she’ll call me Monday & if we need to change the medication. I got home looked up the medication & it was for STD! Not BV. I called Monday 3 times to get my results to tell me all the STD was negative & now I have to stop the first antibiotics & start the one I needed days ago. She didn’t listen to me. Sylmar Urgent Care is a clean, professional and safe urgent care. I initially came here for morpheus 8 treatment for my face, and felt more than comfortable being in the care of an urgent care with medical professionals. The front desk receptionist was very informative and helped me with all of my questions prior to seeing the doctor and the nurse. The doctor did an exam and physical and made sure that I was a good candidate for the medical cosmetic procedure. She explained to me everything I needed to know about my medical condition and how it could affect the recovery with my face treatment. This is definitely above and beyond any care I could get at a regular Medical Spa and I’m so grateful that the doctors have a vested interest in my long-term health. I had a swollen eyelid for days , very painful! Came here for the first time, they took me in right away. Dr. Sirounian knew exactly what it was as she was walking towards me. She was very kind and very knowledgeable. Told me exactly what I needed to do. It’s been less than 24 hours , I’m almost 100 percent healed. Didn’t even need to get the antibiotics. Btw you should try her product IRIS eyecare, (tea tree eyelid and facial cleanser) it’s an amazing product and it’s only $20. Can’t thank you enough Dr. Sirounian. May God bless you abundantly.🙏

Went in May 10, 2017 about 1:00pm, with what I presumed were several broken/crushed toes. Once they confirmed my insurance they did a quick assessment, x-rays, found I had not broken toes, but the doctor though could tell from my bruising that I was in real pain, put on a toe to knee splint and gave me a prescription for pain. The staff was very friendly and helpful (and even emailed me my x-rays!), most importantly the bill was AMAZINGLY reasonable. My co-pay to be seen by a doctor, get X-rays, and prescriptions was about $40.00, which I'm sure is thousands less than the hospital would have charged, and I was in and out in less than 2 hours, I KNOW it would have be been a LOT longer at the hospital. My experience today at the urgent care was amazing . So i had a tonsillectomy done less than a month ago and I had alot of discomfort and the receptionist was very attentive i forgot her name , and Karina was awsome and very communicative, with everything she was about to do . I will definitely be recomending friends and family.
