Oak View Health and Rehabilitation

Worst rehab in Conway. My friend is currently on hospice and has fallen out of bed two times since he's been there. My wife was also there a year ago and also fell out of bed. No raiks on the beds we were told it was a State law in SC which is not true. Don't ever take your family there!

My mom was sent to oak view to do rehab and they did a wonderful job. She went home and was able to be home for about 6 weeks until her health declined again. When we were looking for skilled nursing care, mom wanted to go back here. She called it home. We were able to make that happen. When it came time for mom to take her final journey, the care team there put together a treatment plan for comfort care that changed and shifted to meet my mom's needs, sometimes even hour by hour. My mom passed there at oak view with a smile on her face and the staff helped facilitate everything which made space for my family to see her and be with her. If you have a choice, this should be your choice. The staff there was wonderful I wish I could give more stars. Thank you all for everything.

This is a beautiful facility that exceeds many expectations. The staff and management have caring attitudes. This location is convenient and has lovely curb appeal that flows into the facility as well. There are courtyards and patios, is available for residents and families. It has been refreshing to experience a facility that is attractive with attractive caregivers inside as well.

This is a HORRIBLE FACILITY. Always under staffed. Theres never any linen to wash residents up with. The agency workers don’t touch the residents all night so about time the morning shift comes in, the bed is soaked. That’s definitely NEGLECT. STATE doesn’t do anything about it. I’ve seen roaches in here. The CNAs don’t help the Hospice aides that come in. The workers have to bring in their own soap to wash their residents up because you can never find any. Why isn’t this place shut down yet? If I were you, I’d get my loved one out of here or don’t even THINK about putting them in here. I know nurses who agrees with what I’m saying also. While Oak View has undergone some cosmetic changes since it was the eerie Conway Manor, it still needs a good deal of work. I was disturbed to walk into my mother's room (she was there four months before she passed) and found workers pulling off baseboards, sanding walls and painting with her laying there on a breathing aparatus. She was moved within ten minutes of my complaint, but what if I hadn't visited at that time? As far as doctors go: I was there six, sometimes seven days a week and never once did I see a doctor, yet we were charged twice a week for a doctor. The highest chief you evidently can find there is Nurse Practitioner Jodi, who was informative, knowledgeable and sympathetic.
