Oak Hills Endodontics: Bates Christopher F., DMD

Let me start by saying, I have HORRIBLE anxiety about going to the dentist.. I couldn't afford I.V sedation. So when I finally made the appointment with Dr. Bates, he recommended oral sedation (2 Halcion pills),I was VERY skeptical, but he assured me it worked.. My appointment was this morning, & 30 minutes after taking the Halcion, I told them I wasn't feeling it, so they gave it more time..The next thing I know, I'm in the dentist chair & they're numbing my mouth ( I don't even remember leaving the waiting room). It felt like he was wiggling my cheek as he gave the shots---it made it COMPLETELY painless! Defiantly the first dentist I've ever had that gave painless shots. I felt him give multiple shots- it just didn't hurt- at all! It was crazy! No exaggeration- I have had teeth cleanings

Very unprofessional! After my initial consult, I was instructed that I would need a to have the root canal twice on one tooth. While still at the office following the initial consult, I scheduled my two appointments for the root canal. The first was on September 5 and the second on October 3. The first appointment went ok. He did start working on me before the sedation fully took affect though. The real problem occurred on the second appointment on October 3. Because I was going to be sedated, I was instructed to avoid taking several of my prescribed medications the day before and the day of the procedure until after my appointment. I also needed to be without food the morning of my appointment. I arrived at my appointment and I was treated like I had never been there before. The
