NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island

I would like to thank NYU Langone Health for the excellent care my mom received during her endoscopy. Dr. Muza and the entire staff were very helpful, professional, and kind. They made her feel comfortable and explained everything clearly. We truly appreciate the great care and support.

We waited over four hours to get a vaginal ultrasound done. After our initial checkup, the PA told us they were “getting the probe.” We later learned that the department only has three ultrasound probes, and all three were sent for sterilization at the same time, leaving the unit completely without an ultrasound probe. It ultimately took four hours after our checkup for the ultrasound to be performed. There were no meaningful updates, no clear explanation, and no sense of urgency during the wait. This is extremely concerning for a labor and delivery unit, where timely imaging can be critical. Sending all probes for sterilization simultaneously—with no backup plan—shows a serious lack of planning and operational oversight. Probe sterilization does not take hours, so this delay was entirely

Exceptional and personal service. I delivered my first at Katz women’s hospital and second at Winthrop. I would say Katz recovery room was newer and bigger but I enjoyed my stay at Winthrop better because of their care. Staff constantly checked on me to make sure everything is good with me and baby and asked how to make things better. Cleaning staff came in a few times a day to take out the garbage and clean the bathroom. Personal tablet to watch movies and order meals was a wonderful touch as is their mychart app. If I get pregnant for the third time, without a doubt I would choose NYU again

Winthrop was a great hospital before NYU took over. Try someplace else if you can.

Just gave birth to my second baby at Winthrop and the nurses were amazing and labor and delivery as well as on the maternity floor. However I think it's absolutely ridiculous that there was no lactation consultant at the hospital for 2 days who could come see me. We have latch issues and we have supply issues and I got no help.
