I walked into this office along with my Mom about two months ago for a hearing tests. We had done a prior tests and all were pretty routine with not a lot of acknowledgement of the person in the chair ; My Mummy. This felt different walking through the door where we were pleasantly greeted by Sharon, who gave us a synopsis of what the visit would entail. My Mom was NOT enthusiastic about wearing a hearing aid. Once we got to Dr. Tanya’s office, I felt a calm in my Mom as she tenderly explained the process to her. I felt relieved. Dr Tanya gingerly explained the process which helped to put Mom at ease. Well here we are now!! Mom has hearing aids now and wears them (Shocker). I am writing this for my husband who on the second occasion took his father there for his hearing. Aside from being warmly greeted by Sharon (who is second to none in dealing with the insurance companies in my case my father-in-law's coverage with the VA) - she treats you like family! Next, Tanya the audiologist is the BEST in her profession. She took great care of my father-in-law! He has never been more pleased with the up to date hearing aids that was given to him plus the caring comprehensive evaluation/attention he was given. The question is why go anywhere else when you can go to the BEST for your audiology needs!!!

Audiologist was welcoming. She cleaned the wax out of my ears and gave me a hearing test. She answered my many questions about the different models and pricing. I’m in the early stages of research for new hearing aids but will definitely consider coming back for a trial of the aids they offer..

They also carefully went over all the options for hearing aids, making sure everything was clear and tailored to my uncle’s needs. I went to Garden City Hearing on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola because one of my hearing aids had stopped working and the hearing center I originally purchased them from were not very cooperative or helpful. They were concerned more with receiving payment in advance to fix the hearing aid than they were in the fact that I could not hear well. I found the Mineola office and went in and explained to the representative at the desk what my problem was. This woman was personable and kind and scheduled an appointment with their Dr Tanya Stathopoulos. After a hearing assessment the Dr explained that they would send my broken hearing aid out for repair and immediately offered me a loaner pair of hearing aids and a charger all adjusted to my hearing needs To say I was greatly impressed and satisfied
