THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I wish I could give no stars. I had went here to the emergency room because my urgent care was closed. Whenever I walked in the receptionist name, Latoya was super nice and understanding that I had came to the urgent care because my urgent care was closed. I had took my baby here to be seen for respiratory infection as well as an unknown fever. Whenever II had took my baby here to be seen for respiratory infection as well as an unknown fever. Whenever I had gotten back to triage the lady name Gwen had an attitude from the beginning she kept going back-and-forth with me stating that I was giving her the wrong information about how high my baby fevers have been like I don’t know my own kid. Registration desk attendant needs more training 2 hour wait for a five minute procedure

My boyfriend was seen Monday after an accident with a saw blade at work. Every staff member we came across from the check in desk, to triage, to our trauma nurses and doctor were absolutely fantastic. We were checked in quickly, taken back quickly, no wait time. The doctor was in within 5 minutes to assess the damage. When an X-ray was ordered the technician was in within 5 minutes. Others who were in the ER were being taken back and seen just as quickly with the same friendly and focused service as we were. Dr. Wiles and the rest of Pender staff - thank you!

My husband has been in New Hanover Novant health in Wilmington, Nc for 16 days now. He’s been treated for an infection in his gall bladder and was septic for almost a week and a half. The problem I have is that I took him to the Burgaw Novant Health and the staff was friendly enough. They sent him home saying it was Gerd. I took him back the day after the next and again the same result. I was at work and my husband called an ambulance and was admitted to New Hanover Novant health because he was septic. How can an emergency room with two different sets of doctors and nurses get it so wrong? It’s Dangerous to go there for care. Never again.

Been sitting in the waiting room for almost 3 hours waiting on test results for a sick child. He was pulled to the back long enough to swab his nose and sent right back out to the waiting room after being told his results would be back in 45 mins. This is absolutely ridiculous!
