We had to take our beloved dog in on Black Friday for an emergency visit. The staff was amazing from the receptionist to the doctor, it was all about our dog and what he needed. They were thorough and informative about everything he had going on not just what we were there for. It gives us time to decide how to move forward with treatment. If you love your pet give them a call. We left satisfied and happy.

I took my dog in there because he was in excruciating pain..he had a broken shoulder all I asked was that he not be in pain. I paid 200 for blood work so they could give him pain medication. The first thing the vet asked me was how much I was willing to spend. Almost 600 dollars. Later they didn't even put a splint on his leg or anything. I had to help get him out of the car even though there was plenty of staff to help. The vet tech ,lady with long dark hair pulled on his broke leg trying to get him out. They didn't try to make him comfortable. I can't believe people would treat an animal the way they did just because they didn't like his owner.i ended up having to sign him away to a rescue because I couldn't afford to do anymore...I don't want any other animal to go through what my dog h

We have been using Dr Burnett for many many years. She and her staff have been with us from the beginning to the end of many of our pets lives. The knowledge and love for all creatures is evident when you see who all comes in to the clinic. We have had emergency situations that were taken care of that lasted for months- never gave up and wonderful success. And I will never forget Dr Burnett closing one of her exam rooms for days so I could be with one of our dogs all day while she fought for his life. And taking him home with her at night. This one didn’t go as we hoped and she cried along with us. Dr Burnett and staff are now carers of our two retired racing greyhounds with one very wary of people. I changed vets recently. I was going to a popular vet in Wilmington for years. After having trouble with prescriptions, testing, misdiagnoses, I made the move to change to Dr. Burnett at Healing Hands Animal Hospital. Dr Burnett is knowledgeable in all aspects of her practice. She takes all the time you need to understand what your pet needs and how you can help your pet. Her staff is kind, gracious, and willing to help in any way possible. I am beyond impressed with how well my dog has been treated and the level of care that she is receiving. I only regret not changing vets sooner.

Very thankful that they worked me in last week for my pet rat due to him getting a really bad upper respiratory infection and no other vets in Wilmington saw pet rats at all also whenever I got him from petco when my other rat that passed away before I could get him to the vet had it and passed it to him. Ford is feeling, looking and acting much better.
