I had travel vaccinations done as I am going to Asia in a month. The service of talking with the doctor and getting the injections was great. The pricing not so much. My Aetna insurance deemed the service "not necessary" so it was Out Of Pocket completely. I called the front desk with my insurance on the phone. We confirmed $67 office visit and $95 for the Hep A shot. I threw in a flu shot (which is typically free or $20 at other places.) I was charge $282 which is $100 more than I was verbally quoted. There's a lot of extra charges so I had the front desk explain them to me twice. It's quite a racket. Can we change our health care system already!?!
It's a hospital what can you say. usually it's sad going if every alright you would be there in the first place.
