Northwest Eye Clinic: Kelinske Marilyn A MD - Austin, TX

My experience at this office was very disappointing. The facility appeared unclean and poorly maintained, with conditions that seemed below expected professional standards. The equipment and technology were outdated, and the doctor does not appear to stay current with advances in the field. Despite being overcharged, I have not received a refund within the timeframe required by the Texas Compliance Department, even after repeated requests. Additionally, no fundoscopic exam or retinal scans were performed during my visit, raising concerns about the thoroughness and quality of care provided.

Awful receptionist. Would not give me my own prescription, spoke over me on the phone, and hung up. Would not recommend coming here or dealing with Sally.

Dr. Kelinske has been our family ophthalmologist for over 40 years. Obviously, we are pleased with her service. She is friendly, efficient and listens to what I tell her. She is a pleasure to be around.

This office has a nice insurance racket going. They tell you they’ll verify in network, schedule your appointment and then when you get there, “Oh no. We never verify we’re in network and we charge you your full deductible without believing you’ve met your deductible.” Good racket! They can then force you to pay the entire charge, pretending they are suddenly out of network. Its fraud , because they have signed a contract with your insurance company to take a lower fee, and by avoiding that, they get the big bucks. Total fraud.

I have been going to Dr. Kelinske for many years. Her care and service is outstanding !
