Had a great experience at this clinic .Staff were friendly, professional & made me feel at ease. I was given an estimation based on the cost to be incurred & Dr. Prasad explained the things that need to be fixed based on my X-ray. I have done tooth cleaning & got root canal treatment (from another specialist recommended by them) & eventually got the crown fixed over the tooth. Dr. Prasad was friendly & very skilled at her work. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality dental care.

I found this clinic on ZocDoc. I lost dental insurance almost 2 years ago and had not had a cleaning since then. The entire staff was so kind and patient with me, even amidst my anxiety attack. I didn’t feel judged at all. Dr. Rajashree Prasad is very personable and knowledgeable. I really like how she now only explained how I should be taking care of my teeth, but why. I will be coming to them for as long as I live in the area! They accepted my Delta Dental insurance through my employer.

I typically don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others who may feel apprehensive about going to the dentist. I had an appointment for a few fillings a couple weeks ago that started out fine, but things went downhill once Dr. Prasad began the procedure. During the first filling, it felt quite uncomfortable, almost as if I wasn’t fully numbed. Dr. Prasad told me to raise my hand if I felt discomfort or pain, but when I did, she repeatedly said she was “almost done” and that I’d need to sit through it a little longer. She also declined to give me stronger numbing, saying “the needle was much larger, much more painful, and that she has patients 3x more sensitive than me that still don’t want the other shot.” This created a situation where

Love, love my dentist! Dr Prasad and her staff are amazing! I have dentist anxiety. I’m hyper sensitive when it comes to my teeth. Dr Prasad has a very calming demeanor. I was at ease from the 1st visit to today’s procedure. She talked and explained every step she took and answered my questions. She listened to my concerns and worked to help my anxiety come down to a minimum. I’ve found my new dentist office! The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They took time to explain what they were doing and why. They also happily answered my questions. Very impressed and highly recommend Dr Prasad and her staff at Northwest Austin Family Dentistry!

I recently moved to Austin. And I was worried about finding a good dentist. To my surprise Family dentistry has exceeded my expectations. Staff were knowledgeable, and professional. Dr Prasad took time to explain everything and was very patient. My hygienist was the best. Overall I was very satisfied.
