One of the worst medical experience my husband has ever had. Frank scheduled a physical with Dr. Palermo on 8/27/24 and thorough blood work was done. Going into Labor Day weekend, we did not expect to hear back that week. The entire next week passed without Dr. Palermo or a nurse calling us back to go over the bloodwork which is one of the most important aspects of a physical. By Tuesday September 10th in the early MORNING, I called the office in the morning and asked for a phone call to explain the blood work. No call that day. That evening, I sent a letter to the CEO of Northwell Mr. Michael Dowling thinking that might help. I certainly was wrong about that. I continued to call that week but never heard back. Finally about September 17th, a staff member offered to email me the results.
