Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care

I've been here twice within a one week timeframe. Both times the medical care was top notch. But I held off on a fifth star because the check-in process could be improved. Upon entering the facility, customers will see a tablet used to check in. This is becoming more common across the industry, so no big deal. But both times I came here, the tablet wasn't working. Both times when I tried to explain that it wasn't working, I was told to just "tap on it." The first visit the attendant eventually believed me and came over, tapped on it, and realized it wasn't working. The second time, it worked...sort of. The connection was incredibly slow and what should have taken a few seconds to check in took about 20 minutes. So once you get checked in, the medical part is great.

Making appointment was very easy Nurse was excellent, but dr was not very helpful. Waste of time seeing dr he did not help at all and i had to ask him what i needed to take to get better. He stood by the door after checking my lungs and heart, even after covid test came out negative. Dr i had a couple weeks before was very good

Made appointment and paperwork on line. Only waited a few minutes before the had a room read for me. Rooms were very clean. Doctor was pleasant and informative. Dr. Informed me right away that I would have to wait 20 minutes for X-ray technician to travel from Yaphank to Riverhead. Technician was very nice. X-ray technician was great. Dr. Informed me that he called in medication to pharmacy before I even asked. They called next day to follow up with me to make sure I was able to get an appointment with a specialist and offered to help if needed. Would recommend.

I guess I’ll be the only one to complain about this unless the whole entire staff had an off day. I was called to a room and waited for at least 10 minutes for the nurse to come in. They kept passing by and kept looking in my room and kept going. The PA that was in told the person before me and clearly heard him say to the person next to me that he recommended us all to go to the hospital. He wanted me to get a brain scan because I had a headache on and off for 5 days. I definitely won’t be going back he only saw me for not even 5 minutes and just wanted me to go to the hospital instead.

Friendly receptionist. Kind assistant. Capable and pleasant physician. Short wait time. Clean office. Easy to schedule on the wait list. And easy to check in.
