Now that I have had my work corrected by another dentist, I can confidently say the work I received here was subpar at best. I got multiple implants. The surgery itself was horrible. I was not sedated towards the end of the surgery. I had walked to get X-rays/scans, and Shanks wanted to do further adjustments to an implant. He worked to manipulate an implant. I was crying and telling him it hurt. He continued the adjustment with no meds. I had nightmares about this for months after my surgery. I got anxiety any time I had to go back for a visit. This place was a God-send, in the most literal way. My wife and I were in the midst of a 26-hour road trip when my tooth began aching in a horrible fashion 9 hours from home. We picked a random hotel to stay at the night before because I just couldn’t be in the car anymore with the pain level I was experiencing. At 6:30 in the morning we showed up on their porch and the staff not only let us in, and worked us into their scheduled right away, but they were so kind to my wife & I in our exhausted and overwhelmed situation. The entire office went above and beyond to help my son with autism. This was the best experience he has ever had at a dentist office. They were extremely patient and understanding with him.

Dr Shanks is the ultimate professional…his work is outstanding, his manner is laid back and easygoing, his staff is exceptional and they really try to accommodate you in any possible way. They treat you like family. I highly recommend him.
