Northlake Pediatric Care

We were referred to Dr. Borja, after my, now 10yr old, spent his 4th Christmas in the hospital with pneumonia. I’ve never been so confident in a doctor, he wasted NO time on getting my son on the proper meds for asthma and allergies, even got us to where both meds are mostly seasonal!!! I had to call the office yesterday and without a question he called in the prescription we needed, because he listens to the parents and feels they know their child best! And when I had my 2nd son, there was NO question as to who I wanted as his pediatrician!!!

My oldest son has been a patient of Dr. Michael Borja's for 15 yrs! He also takes care of my other 2 care children. He takes absolutely NO chances with my children & will not hesitate to send us to a specialist or even step away from the exam room to call a colleague from Baptist for input. I can call him day or night & he's always there for my family. My only "complaint" is when you go to see him, plan to be there awhile! Dr. Borja takes his time with EACH child, he's in no rush, so the wait can be long, but when it's YOUR child needing that one on one care, you'll appreciate that time he spends making sure he misses nothing. His practice consists of only him, a PA on Wednesdays, and his 2 medical assistants. So it's small, but again, that's where the individualized care comes into play.

I have taken my children to Dr Borja since we moved here, and he absolutely has my respect, he takes no chances and also he is the one who suspected that my Daughter has Turner syndrome when she was 2 and he was right, so we got treatment for her asap! He send us to Brenner’s and now she is 12 and keeps on with her treatment and seeing Dr. Borja!

Dr. Michael does a great job and the family feel of the business if fantastic. I highly recommend this doctor!

Best peds around. Been taking my kids here for 9 years and they have always been on top of things. Highly recommended. He takes no chances and gets my kids the care they need immediately. He’s here for the kids and their health. Most friendly staff, they make you feel like family. Thank you for everything you guys do, north lake peds and Dr. Borja.
