Norterra Kids' Dentistry & Orthodontics

I've been taking my kids here for their dental needs for the last three or four years. Overall, it has been a fantastic dentist and orthodontist office to bring them too. They are usually flexible with my schedule when it comes to making the kids appointments, and we never really have to wait around forever to be seen once we arrive. Staff have always been pleasant & friendly when we've interacted with them. My daughter received her braces here, we thought it was a great price and the end results look wonderful, she is very happy with her new smile. There aren't any big "cons" just a few small things I've made mental notes of while in office. 1. The waiting area is a little small, when they are busy you will need to stand. 2. Our experience has been frustrating to say the least. We've had to return repeatedly for poor work. From the start, getting the braces on was a painstakingly long process. They had someone new do it. She would do one thing, then have to wait for the Orthodontist to come and check her work before moving on. Imagine going through this process with every tooth. What an ordeal. But at least it was done and all was good, so we thought. One of the wires was too long and we had to go back to get it cut. Then a bracket broke and we had to go back again. This is all within a couple of weeks of getting the braces on. Since then we've had to return multiple times for wires too long cutting into our child's mouth and broken brackets. Every time they do an adjustment something goes wrong shortly after.

We love this place. They are very kind, professional, and welcoming. We appreciate the convenience of coming before or after school and how approachable all the staff are. I recommend Norterra Kids dentistry & ortho all time. Thanks!

I called this office pretty frantic about my son's situation and they got me in right away! The ladies up front were so kind and reassuring. Then the dental hygienist was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. And the way this dentist backed me up 1000% and wanted to solve our problem that day. I really can't thank you all enough for your help today and just being kind. As a mom, you dont realize how far that goes!! You're amazing!! Thank you! Thank you!!

Delta Dental has them listed as their recommended dentist and covers preventative care. I received a bill for my 2 children - routine check ups only for 1200 dollars. Way beyond the max the insurance will pay! This dentist will rip you off if you have dental insurance and you’ll have to end up paying hundreds of dollars for your kids routine check ups! Never had this issue with our previous dentist where we moved from. I’ll make the drive to continue their care elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting!
