NextCare Urgent Care San Antonio - US Highway 281

Charlie Vera was my provider at NextCare for a female issue. She was very pleasant, attentive and she LISTENED. IMO, the majority of providers treat you as if you’re on an assembly line and are burnt out, displayed by a lack of attentiveness. She balanced my care by being empathetic, respectful and addressed my medical concerns. She quickly followed up with a text notification of my prescribed treatment/medication through the clinic site and I also received another text notification the next day to ask about my satisfaction with my treatment regiment and if I had any other additional concerns. Excellent care and provider. Thanks Dr. Vera and NextCare.

The physician I saw was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. I just moved to Texas but my insurance was not one used in Texas. After visiting an emergency room and then an urgent that was private, it was worth the drive to San Antonio's Next Care Urgent care. They accepted my senior advantage care. The office was very comfortable and accepted walk ins. The physician went out of her way in providing me places closer to home and names of providers. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone looking for care when in need.

EDIT:: I received a response on one of my reviews from the clinic to email them if I wanted to discuss this matter further. Well, I emailed them and no surprise I have not heard back. Clearly they only wanted to appear to care about my concerns on social media. Obviously, they don’t. I was not tested for flu or Covid. Was diagnosed with a lower respiratory infection. Two days after this visit I had to go back with worsening symptoms. Still not tested for flu or Covid. A day later had to go to ER. Tested for flu and covid. Diagnosed with covid. Because I already had symptoms for so long I was not eligible for covid meds. Was told had I been tested at this appointment, I could have gotten Covid meds and would not have gone thru the misery I did for two weeks and would not have had to incur

There was no ppl. Wait time was only for filling out forms online. I did go in the morning. Plenty of parking. Dr took his time. Nurse too. The nurse go took my vitals was nice and patient. I recommend this urgent care clinic

We were told on the phone that this urgent care had a lab department as well as an x-ray department. Once getting there, we checked in, my wife had her blood pressure taken and her temperature taken. We were led to a waiting room where the doctor met us only to tell us that they could do nothing for my wife. We were told she needed to go to a hospital where they could x-ray my wife and draw her blood.We were told their facility was a flu/Covid clinic only!!! This is not what we read online or was converted to us over the phone prior to the wasted trip. We now have a bill from this urgent care center and a large bill from the hospital emergency room. The only thing this center did was do a blood pressure reading and a temperature check. If I could give this place is zero I would put
