NextCare Urgent Care San Antonio - Culebra Road

The facility was clean and the service was quick but thorough. Everyone was polite and treated me like they really cared. I left there feeling like I was able to trust the provider that treated me, her diagnosis, and her regimen. The treating provider was Loan Doan and she was amazing. I highly recommend and trust this place.

Second time here, first time went really well. Second time, I found it extremely unprofessional for the staff to be yelling and shouting, making negative comments, and singing the tune of “It’s beginning to look alike like Christmas” when they found out my brother tested positive for Covid today. I do not care how surprised you may have been, it is extremely inappropriate to be hearing that through a closed door. As health professionals, do better.

It’s always easy to schedule an appointment. The staff is also friendly. However, the last few visits have been long wait times. Maybe adding another doctor will make faster. This location used to have 2-3 doctors working. Yesterday I wasn’t seen until 1 hour and 10 minutes AFTER my appointment and I checked in 15 minutes prior. I didn’t leave until 11 am with a scheduled appointment at 9:40. It wasn’t even busy. I’ll give it one more try and if it’s the same I will look for another urgent care. I’ve been coming here for years. I’d hate to look for a new location. But the wait times are unacceptable. Maybe it’s faster if you just walk in without an appointment.

Everyone was nice and joking to lighten the mood but I felt that interrupted an actual examination. I presented with particular symptoms and tested negative for flu and Covid. Just sent home with antibiotics. Well turns out my skin pain I complained about was shingles. I couldn’t see but there was a rash on my back. Maybe could’ve been found if looked at. Something to consider.

Visiting family for a few weeks and found myself in need of care. Easy to schedule and hands down the friendliest staff at any Urgent care I've encountered. Efficient process and I was well cared for. I will definitely cone again if in the area and in need. Thank you!
