NextCare Urgent Care San Antonio - Austin Highway

The physician I saw was excellent. She asked the right questions, listened to me, and was professional. I entered all the information they required online ahead of my visit which was easier for me. There are two reason reasons I gave it four stars instead of five: 1. The wait was really long; much more than an hour. I had the feeling somebody may have called in sick and she was doing double duty. 2. They did not separate sick, possibly contagious patients from other patients. When I see my primary care physician, the first thing they ask is do you have a cough? Do you have a fever? Are you having Trouble breathing? Nice admitting nurse and very professional A. Bali, FNP, who was attending my needs. She was a great listener and took her time to evaluate my condition. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. Her diagnosis was spot on and I received all the help I was hoping for. The facility (on Austin Hwy) is clean and well organized. I am glad I went there and not somewhere else.

This was my second very pleasant visit with FNP Bali. She is very friendly and always made me feel at ease. She asks many questions which shows that she cares about her patients. I felt that she really had my concerns at heart. This facility is very blessed to have such a great FNP and I am blessed to have had her as a provider. She is a great assett to your facility.

The staff was excellent from the receptionist to the physician. The evaluation and health care couldn’t have been better. One big negative was the wait time. I had made an appointment and waited over two hours to be seen. They were busy, and several people left after getting “sick” of waiting. At my NextCare at home appointments mean something.

Last week, I had a very positive visit at NextCare Urgent care -Austin Highway. FNP Daja Hernandez was absolute joy. She’s efficient, wise and thoughtful. My pansinusitis was immediately taken care of, and I was so grateful being under her care. Also the lady in front desk was patient and kind.
