Let me clarify my three-star rating. The three stars are for the receptionists and the nurse who took my vitals. They were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and professional. People usually write reviews because they either love a place or want to inform others about their experience. I’m not someone who enjoys going to the doctor, but I recently got insurance and decided it was time to take care of my health. With all the warnings about the flu and respiratory illnesses going around, I initially did what most people do—I went to the cold and flu aisle. Very pleasant and clean environment. The receptionist was very professional in explaining what I needed to do as a veteran and explained how long I would be waiting, roughly. The gentlemen that took my vitals seemed to be having a really good day which, believe it or not, helps when you're in pain, making the process smoother. The doctor who seen me got right to the point, checked things out and was very knowledgeable of my condition. I was in and out of there in no time. Thank you!

I visited NextCare Urgent Care Sahuarita with my mother tonight, who is a senior citizen and a quadruple bypass survivor. She is experiencing significant pain and swelling in her right ankle. Sadly, our experience at NextCare Urgent Care Sahuarita was extremely disappointing and emotionally distressing. The nurse practitioner on duty that evening was Naomi Maakestad. From the moment she walked into the room, Naomi displayed a confrontational and dismissive attitude. She did not introduce herself and immediately began speaking in a loud, belittling tone, stating: “So you’re here today because you want to know if you have a blood clot in your ankle, right? Absolutely atrocious. There were no appt times for a "walk-in" urgent care. Reception said it was a 2 1/2 hour wait because their doctor didn't come in until noon. Yet, the hours are from 8am - 8pm... Would have been faster to go to Tucson.
