NextCare Urgent Care Prescott

I was very pleased with my visit yesterday. The tfront desk receptionist greeted me right away and I had a pleasant conversation about my recent trip to Vietnam. She was friendly efficient and caring. The nurse who took my vitals was amazing friendly efficient and caring as well. Th Nurse Practitioner Kelly Meier was amazing through and knowledgeable. She offered excellent advice. As a retired Medical Provider I was impressed.

So, I was unfortunate enough to get Flu A this season. It was wonderful to have Urgent Care available to get me through it. I had to go twice, the first time for diagnosis and another time for further infection treatment. I attempted to go inbetween these appts, however their computer systems were down and they were not taking patients. Luckily, I received exceptional and quick treatment at the Hospital ER. On my 3rd visit, I felt like an inconvenience to the receptionist, right from the get-go. I did not feel well enough to address the issue. She did what she needed to do, get payment and ID, and I had a seat. I get that these UC employees see sick people every day and do not need to be empathetic or sympathetic to us but I have been treated more human at other places. The nurse was all b

Most professional care I have received in years. Each member was kind and took care of me with best of care. It was busy but didn’t wait very long had appointment. I did notice walk ins where treated with same kindness and care.

It was fine. The urgent care had an emergency themselves and this delayed appointments. Staff I believe was somewhat shook up and although I had a 10 am appointment that I arrived early for I wasn’t seen for about an hour later. However, I did get a prescription filled which was what I needed and so all is good. Better than the care I received from Arizona Oncology that I had visited 2 days before about the same thing.

Would not recommend. I had booked the first appointment at 8am and arrived at 7:50am for check-in. I was not seen until 8:40am even though my appointment was for 8am. When asking the front desk lady about it she gave a vague weird answer that “the computer system wasn’t loading” then at Check-out she said she didn’t usually work at the clinic so she had to be added to the system. If you had to be added to the system then why were you not prepared and added before patients started? There were at least 12 patients behind me when I watched the waitlist. If felt like a waste of my time and disrespectful when I had thought to make an appointment ahead if time and arrived on time.
