NextCare Urgent Care Dumfries

I never wrote a bad review about any place but I feel I have to this time. The waiting time was 30 mins which was not bad. The receptionist was very nice. The doctor looked at my ears so 5 seconds each or less. She told me they looked fine that everything was OK. She said I might have a sinus bacterial infection after taking less than 10 seconds to examine my symptoms. She gave me antibiotics and call it good. I was fine with that until at 8 PM (same day) my ear started bleeding. I called them and the doctor told me she saw something when she was checking my ear. Well, idk why she said my ears looked fine IN THE APPOINTMENT. Please consider other urgent cares, my eardrum rupture and I went to another urgent care that actually helped me out.

The doctor was very professional and caring. I called the next day to follow up on my medication. As soon as Olivia picked up phone I was greeted with a sense of irritation. I've not spoken to her prior and all communication with her gave a sense of irritation and sarcasm. It would be great if Olivia had some professionalism when speaking with patients.

This was my first visit to Next Care. The receptionist was professional & courteous. My wait time was short. My tests were performed & I received a diagnosis quickly. The nurse practitioner that treated me gave a diagnosis & prescribed medications however she didn’t seem to offer advice on continued symptoms, duration or even ask if I had any further questions. I was under the impression that I was free to leave, I hadn’t been told to remain in the room or anything, so I left. After leaving I realized that I hadn’t received any paperwork stating my diagnosis & aftercare instructions so I had to return to the facility & ask the receptionist to print it for me. Overall, I would return & I do recommend Next Care for anyone seeking fast service. I personally would have felt better having a pra

What's the point of having a 5 pm appointment only to walk in and be told it's an hour to an hour and a half delay??? Maybe the front desk lady should go in and take those appointments out so there is no confusion instead of having a funky attitude when I voice my displeasure about the wait. That seems like an easy fix, but what do I know??? *Update* We were called back at 6:03, so an hour after the appointment time. Front desk lady was nice. PA was nice. The tech was terrible. No manners, sloppy looking, no explanation of who he was or his credentials or what he was about to do. No personality or customer service skills. Probably would not return.
