Wonderful staff, willing to go above and beyond to help your pet. Went in for an emergency with my cat, was seen right away and told the problem. Worked with me and my family to help my cat. Would highly recommend this vet. Also as an added bonus they are 24 hours.
My son found me unresponsive on the floor after an extended cold. He tried heimlich but no response. My daughter trained in CPR did compressions because I was blue-lipped. That worked. Vernon Ambulance took me asap to Newton where their genuine and dedicated care got me better. Kudos to our ambulance squad and Newton’s staff. Most attentive care I’ve ever received. They were so concerned and thoroughly checked me out. Let me mention: Alissa Alyssa Jasmin Natalia Randy Connie Tamara Olivia Emily all the Drs and everyone that my post sick mushy brain cannot recall right now. The nurse in the ER also be out teaching and a chair in for my daughter. Their genuine care and kindness abounds. Thank you (ER, Room 149 Hussey). I’m so grateful for to ALL of you. ❤️👍
I am NOT one to write reviews. However, on 1/1/2026 I went to visit a patient who was admitted the night before to bring them clothes around 2:30pm. The patient had a wound on their arm which had gotten vomit in it the night before and upon my arrival appeared to be swollen and possibly infected. The patient I was visiting was slightly out of it due to some anxiety medication they were given the night before so when the patient expressed to me that her arm hurt and needed to be cleaned and bandaged I went to tell a male nurse with somewhat longer, darker hair (mid 20s - early 30s) if they could assist with her wound. He replied "sure thing". Moments later he returned with a larger band aid in which he just quickly covered the wound without even cleaning it. This was a 1/4 inch deep wound t
The one star I have is for the valet guys, the lady at the front desk, and the man who led me to the ultrasound unit — thank you! I read lots of negative reviews about this hospital, but because I was considering having my baby here come May, I decided to come check things out myself. And guess what — I received the WORST treatment! I’m pregnant and very anxious about losing the baby or something going wrong due to multiple past miscarriages. I came here for my second (12-week) ultrasound. The directions I got from them were very vague, the buildings are all over the place, and it’s hard to locate where you’re going. I arrived about 10 minutes late to the unit after driving around the building looking for parking and trying to find where I was supposed to go. I explained this to the unit
Ill start off with the positives, food was good, lots of options. Nurse Barbara was a saint walked me to my medicaid ride in a t shirt in the cold. The other nurses were ok as well as the aids. The doctors were generous when they discharged me with meds to help my pain. Everything was explained thoroughly to me at discharge. Problem was psych or dementia patients screaming all night, no sleep. Waiting up to 3 hours late for your nurse to get your pain meds. A different doctor every day with a different diagnosis and opinion. A referral to an out of network doctor, oh, last but not least I came by ambulance and told them I have severe liver pain. At discharge a doctor said I had a normal liver, found out 2 days later I have hep b and c through bloodwork at my primary. I spent 5 days there f
