I have always gone to Dr Daniel Hurd (25 years) he was a excellent dermatologist! He retired and is only doing surgery now ! The new dermatologist i saw today was a huge disappointment! No personally not friendly rush in rush out ! Will definitely not go back ! Thank you Dr Daniel Hurd for your outstanding work as a doctor your personality and beside manner your patience understanding and dedication!! You are truly missed there will never be another one like you!

I have been going to New River Dermatologist in Blacksburg for several years now always been very pleased with their service. A couple weeks ago I was scheduled for a one year evaluation with a new doctor. They called him, Dr. Joe. He was the rudest, no bedside manner whatsoever, he never introduced himself. He was terrible to me. I had just had major surgery and I know he needed me to lean back on the chair and I told him I had just had surgery. He took his hand and pushed me back. He did not want to lend me a hand to help me Off of the table. It was a rush in and rush out kind of visit is what he wanted to do. He was not even going to check my backside as I was there for a whole body check. They called me back and told me I had some spots that needed to be removed and I told them I would

The Roanoke office is wonderful! Amazing staff, each and every one of them. I have been a patient for over a year now and will continue. The dermatologist listens with care and has recommended a regimen that helped heal my skin! They have made me confident and feel great day to day! Cannot say enough fantastic things about this office.
