Neel Patel, MD | Hip & Knee Replacement

Dr Patel is an outstanding ortho surgeon. He is encouraging, caring, and explains with excellence. He always greats you with a smile. I had a frozen hip, extreme pain, severe arthritis and I am severely obese. Other surgeons would not touch a hip replacement until I lost 75 pounds. Dr Patel looked at my scans and discussed the situation, pro and con, in detail with me. He was willing to give me back an active life with a hip replacement. I went from being unable to sit or stand without excrutiating pain, walking with a rolator, hospitalized, and in a rehap, to walking unassisted, in PT, and no pain in 6 weeks. His nurse, Jamie, was so positive as well. She is 80% nurse and 20% cheerleader. I highly recommend this surgeon. He gave me back a normal life!
